Scott Peterson and Paul Flores
So many people ask me if there is any chance that Scott may be involved in Kristin's disappearance. I have decided that now is a good time to let you know what I know and leave it up to you to make up your own mind.
First, regardless of whether or not Scott is involved, one thing is for sure...Paul Flores is definitely involved in the respect that at the very least he knows more than he is saying and he and his family are refusing to cooperate with investigators. This is not a case of either/or. It is more a matter if Paul had any help and if so, was Scott Peterson one of those who helped.
The common thread here is Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo. All of the main players went to college there at the same time. That includes Kristin, Paul, Laci, Scott as well as Ermelinda Flores (Paul's sister) and Brett MAcArthur - the man Ermelinda eventually married.
I am not positive that Ermelinda and Brett attended Cal Poly at the same time - but I was told that they were also students.
After Kristin vanished, investigators covered the campus with a massive interview sweep which included, as I understand it, about 600 letters to students who were living on campus asking if anyone knew anything about Kristin's case.
Scott Peterson was mailed one of those letters but he never responded. That isn't saying all that much though because as it was told to me - a lot of students didn't respond.
When the bright light of justice began to seriously bore in on Scott, this naturally brought much needed attention to Kristin. San Luis Obispo Sheriff's department did look into the possibility and even called the Smarts wondering if Kristin had ever mentioned Scott.
Then, rather quickly, San Luis Obispo Sheriff's department made a statement saying that there was no connection to Scott having anything to do with Kristin's case.

Pat Pemberton, a reporter for the local paper told me that early on in Kristin's case, the paper received an anonymous letter. It was a cutout of an article that had recently appeared in the paper about a lake in the area known as Lopez Lake.
Someone drew a small circle on the photo of the lake and wrote: 'Kristin is here'. Pat told me the letter was turned over to the San Luis Obispo Sheriff's office and he never heard another word about it.
Also, I was told that even after the SLO sheriff's department publicly stated that there was no connection, they were still quietly looking into to the possibility. I was told that investigators took a photo of Scott up to Cheryl Anderson and Tim Davis (the two students who supposedly walked Kristin home that night with Paul) to see if they recognized Scott.
I am not privy to any details along this line. I am not even sure that happened - it is just what I was told. But it does sound reasonable that investigators would want to at least check it out.

Kristin's mom, Denise told me that Kristin did work for a while at the pool at the rec center and just about every student makes their way to the center several times a week - so it stands to reason that they may have met.
So now you know what I know. The one thing I am positive of is that the Flores know more than they are saying. They have 100% taken the 5th amendment and refuse to cooperate with investigators.
I do not agree with it - but I do recognize that in this country, people have the right to take the 5th. I also recognize that the exact same document also gives me the right to publish this website and let the community know about all the sordid details about this case that for whatever reason does not make it into the media.
This website stays up until the Flores agree to cooperate with the San Luis Obispo sheriff's department. Once they do that - I take this site down.
